Irish History DVD Project

The Irish History DVD  Project was founded by Séan and Brian Mac an Ultaigh in 2004. The purpose of this effort is to develop a comprehensive 
ten DVD (20 hours) series on Irish History from ancient times through today. "The Irish History DVD Project came about because 
there is not a complete and comprehensive telling of Ireland’s story. At best, there are a few shows  around Saint Patrick’s Day
 in America but that is all. Some  are not accurate and have at times been demeaning to the Irish People. Our people have a long proud history
 both in Ireland and all over the world." They have recently released a Demo CD for paid members to promote their project. Over the past year 
they have also set up Discussion Groups On Yahoo Groups, MSN Groups as well as a new AOL Group. Go to link at bottom of the page.

100 Years of Sinn Fein

As many readers will remember we at the Irish American Voice have never steered away from controversial issues or topics. In this Centennial year
of the founding of Sinn Fein many questions will be asked, such as: Which Sinn Fein party are we talking about? The One founded 100 years ago is
common answer right? Well which party today bearing the name Sinn Fein today is most like that of 100 years ago, Provisional Sinn Fein or Republican
Sinn Fein? Historical Sinn Fein would never endorse British Occupation or domination of any part of Ireland. And surely would not administer the
artificial state of " Northern Ireland" as the Provisionals seem eager to do. So it can not be them. Sinn Fein the Workers Party dropped the Sinn Fein
long ago from their name so it can not be them either. Many but not all modern Irish political parties will claim their roots are in the Sinn Fein of
1905, but they too have endorsed British rule in Occupied Ireland, so we know they are out. It looks like the only real candidate is Republican Sinn Fein.
They are most like historical Sinn Fein. This is more than just opinion it is historical fact. A healthy and open discussion should be had by all Republicans during this Centennial year of Sinn Fein would do our people well.
